For brand-new beginners: Get a taste of what a yoga class is like at Evergreen Yoga!
If you are a newbie, this class is for you! I teach this one-time class at the beginning of each year. My objective is to provide an opportunity for new people to see our studio, experience what a class is like, and see if you like it.
It’s just one class – so there is no commitment. Come and find out if we are the right match for what you’re looking for.
I will lead you through some basic standing poses and answer questions. We will end the class with guided relaxation. It is a “sample” of what a typical class is like.
If you have wanted to try yoga, but feel like you don’t know enough to come to a class, this is for you!
You will see why this practice meets you where you are physically, mentally, etc.
When I meet people and they find out I’m a yoga teacher, they tell me some version of “Oh, my muscles are so tight I can’t even touch my toes.” You do not have to be flexible to do this class!!!
In fact, if you are concerned about very stiff muscles, yoga is exactly where you need to be.
I have over twenty years of experience teaching brand-new beginners. It’s important to start off in a way that builds your confidence. It’s my goal to help you get going.
