This little left-handed candy lover stole my heart today at River Arts Fest. I asked him what he was drawing.
“Duh, my daddy,” he told me.
His dad was kind enough to let me snap this photo.
River Arts Fest seemed to bring out the kid in everyone. All through-out South Main there was a spirit of friendship, whimsy and delight.
Before heading downtown I told my husband I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go alone or take a friend. He encouraged me to go solo.
“That way, you’ll make new friends,” he said.
And sure enough, I did. Mr. Candy Man above.
