Yoga meets you where you are and changes what needs to be changed - physically, emotionally, spiritually -at any stage of life.
This class will focus on basic poses initially (standing poses, seated poses) to provide a strong foundation and focus the mind, then more advanced poses ( inversions, backbends) will be introduced in a supportive systematic way. Open to all levels.

Perfect for brand-new beginners! The instruction is progressive, building on skills week-to-week as the student develops strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and confidence.
Classes will emphasize postural alignment and precision in the basic standing and seated poses and end with final relaxation. Shoulderstand will be introduced.
Students will build a solid foundation needed to progress to other classes at Evergreen Yoga. Mats and props are provided. Those with previous yoga experience wishing to refine their understanding of the fundamentals are welcome.

Monthly class fee: $80
September fee is pro-rated at $70 due to no class on September 12.
