*Sales Tax on yoga classes has been repealed! 

Thanks to the collaborative effort of several yoga studios and small gyms in Memphis, and the support of Memphis City Councilman Kemp Conrad, we got the attention of the Tennesse State Legislature, and Governor Lee signed the bill eliminating sales tax on yoga classes.  Starting July 1, there will be no sales tax added to the cost of our classes.

Class fees beginning July 1:
Drop-in fee: $16 per class
8-class series: $104
16-class series: $192

Series dates through December 2019:
September 2 - October 27
October 28 - December 22

Develop flexibility in body and mind.
Cultivate a strong will and a fierce heart through a consistent yoga practice. 
With persistence and consistent practice every person has the capacity to change. Each person will be challenged according to his or her experience-level. 
Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher Leah Nichols guides these intense yet playful practices to start your day off right!  


Sign-ups are for a month at a time.
Monthly class fee: $80

August classes will start August 15th. Fee is prorated at $50.

(No drop-ins to this class. No make-up classes.)

Foundations of Yoga: A 6-Week Course

STAY TUNED for dates of our next course this fall.

Perfect for brand-new beginners! The instruction is progressive, building on skills week-to-week as the student develops strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and confidence.

Classes will emphasize postural alignment and precision in the basic standing and seated poses and end with final relaxation. Shoulderstand will be introduced.

Students will build a solid foundation needed to progress to other classes at Evergreen Yoga. Mats and props are provided. Those with previous yoga experience wishing to refine their understanding of the fundamentals are welcome.
