Yoga during Pregnancy
Everything about Iyengar yoga will help you during your pregnancy. The breathing and body awareness help you stay connected to your changing body. The stretches and poses develop strength and readiness for giving birth as well as improving your current physical health. In short, they help you FEEL better!
Teachers Tedrah Smothers and Leah Nichols are skilled at accommodating pregnant women in our yoga classes. We will encourage you to tune into your body and really listen to what's going on, and to accept the changes as positive growth.
Classes that are best for pregnancy are Thursdays at 6pm, Saturday at 8:45am. Both classes are Introductory and Level 1. with any questions.
