While men are welcome to attend any of our regular yoga classes, this class is specifically designed for men.
We work on balancing strength with flexibility. We practice poses to bring freedom to the more inflexible areas: hamstrings, calves, shoulders and chest.
The standing poses will improve the flexibility of your feet, ankles, legs and hips. They also develop your strength, balance and endurance.
We will also address the lower back. If you've experienced tightness or pain in the lower back, there are postures to help you loosen up and decrease inflammation.
At the end of each class, there is always time reserved for deep relaxation. Because this class meets in the evening, the relaxation portion emphasizes letting go of the day and preparing for sleep.
We sweat a little bit, we grunt a little bit, and we always have fun!
